Meet Dr. Shumway
Dr. Charles Shumway was born and raised in Idaho Falls where his parents were both school teachers. Before his undergraduate studies, Dr. Shumway completed a two year mission in Taiwan where he learned to speak Mandarin Chinese. As a proud graduate of Brigham Young University - Idaho and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, he is committed to providing you the highest quality of care. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Shumway’s continuing education, dedication to excellence, and desire to deliver the best care possible all ensure that your dental needs will be met at the finest level.
When he’s not working, he enjoys disc golf, RC cars, board games, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Raina, have three wonderful children.

4021 Avenue B previously was home to Peretti Dental. Dr. Shumway acquired the practice from Dr. Donald Peretti who retired from dentistry in May of 2023 after 38 years of serving the dental needs of many patients in and surrounding Billings.
